💡Tips & Tricks

  • Coffee: It’s important to know that the “cups” listed on a coffee pot are not actual 8-ounce cups. They’re smaller, so make sure you measure out 6-cups of brewed coffee.
  • Caffeine: Feel free to use decaf coffee for evening enjoyment.
  • Leftovers: If you have any, they’re delicious reheated or served cold over ice!

Notes

  • Important:  The cups shown on a coffee pot are not traditional, 8-ounce cups.  They are smaller, around 5-6 ounces.  For example, my coffee pot produced 4 1/3 cups of brewed coffee from the 6-cup waterline.  So brew more than the 6 cups shown on the coffee pot to get 6 cups of brewed coffee.
  • There are multiple brands of chocolate liqueur.  This recipe was developed using Mozart Chocolate Cream, which has a milk chocolate flavor.
  • This recipe is not cooked on high because it would cook out the alcohol.
  • Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.  Reheat on the stove or the microwave.  Also delicious served cold!
