Hibiscus Limeade in a glass pitcher and in a glass with ice.

Hibiscus Limeade

Kaylen
Hibiscus Limeade, a flavorful twist on a classic! Made with homemade hibiscus simple syrup and fresh-squeezed lime juice, it’s tart, slightly floral, and perfectly sweet!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hibiscus simple syrup
  • 3/4 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice (6-9 limes depending on how juicy they are)
  • 5 cups filtered water

Instructions

  • You'll need to have a batch of Hibiscus Simple Syrup ready (this can be done days before you want to make the limeade).
  • In a pitcher, combine the hibiscus simple syrup, lime juice, and water. *If preferred, you can add the syrup and lime juice incrementally, until you achieve the sweet/sour flavor you're looking for. Stir to combine.
  • I like to add lime wheels to the pitcher for decor. Refrigerate until needed. Ice will dilute the limeade, so if desired, add ice to the glass, not the pitcher. Enjoy!

Notes

  • The (6 servings) are based on six 8-ounce servings.
  • Store in an air-tight container in the fridge and use within 5 days.
  • This recipe makes 50 ounces of Hibiscus Limeade.
  • Hibiscus Limeade is naturally caffeine-free.
  • The pitcher shown in the photos is a 67-ounce pitcher.
