I’ve been making Spicy Curry Roasted Nuts on repeat for months now! They are super flavorful and good for you, win-win!
My family and I love those canisters of flavored nuts, but not only are they expensive, they’re not available in all stores, and they don’t have both of our favorite nuts – almonds and peanuts.
These homemade spiced nuts are flavored with savory spices like curry powder, garlic powder, and onion powder with a kick from cayenne. Adding a little Worcestershire gives them a touch of umami.
Spiced nuts are great for holiday parties and game day. They also make an excellent addition to a cheese board!

💡 Tips for perfect Spicy Curry Roasted Nuts
Here are a few tips to make sure your nuts turns out perfectly:
- Curry powder: Curry flavor is the focal point of the nuts. For the most flavorful nuts, make sure to use fresh curry powder.
- Heat level: You can adjust the heat level by reducing or increasing the cayenne pepper. As-is, the nuts are moderately spicy.
- Allow nuts to cool: When the nuts come out of the oven, they won’t be crunchy right away. They’ll need to completely cool and come to room temperature, then they’ll be crunchy.
- Nuts: If you change the nuts, I recommend using “raw” nuts, as roasting already roasted nuts may give them an off-taste.
How to store roasted nuts
Once nuts have completely cooled and reached room temperature (can take 30+ minutes), store them in an air-tight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or refrigerate them for a longer shelf life.
It’s important that the nuts are room temperature when being stored, as warm nuts will create moisture in the container, making them go bad too soon.
