Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion diced
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tablespoons harissa more or less to suit your tastes
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp deveined, tails optional
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley garnish

  • Leftover shrimp can be kept in an air-tight container in the refrigerator and used within 3-4 days.
