Servings 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1.5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ghost pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 325℉. Add the nuts, oil, and all of the seasonings to a mixing bowl and stir thoroughly, ensuring the nuts are evenly coated in spices.
  • Pour the nuts onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread them out in an even layer. Bake for 10 minutes then stir them around and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  • The nuts will not be crunchy right when they come out of the oven. Let them come to room temperature, then they'll be nice & crunchy. Enjoy!

Notes

  • WARNING: These nuts are extremely spicy!
  • Make sure the nuts have completely cooled before storing.  Warm nuts will release moisture, making them go bad.
  • Store in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
